Fair
adds High Speed ATMs |

Long lines at
the fair’s ATM machine should be a thing of the past thanks to the
addition of four state-of-the-art money machines. |

by the back gate First Aid station two years ago. The newer one saw less
activity than the original machine located at the edge of the midway. “For security purposes, we have put them in one location,” Eastman said, noting that they are across from the police station. “With high speed connection and four times as many units in one place, we feel this will solve the problem of long lines and improve the situation substantially.” In addition to long lines last year, the fair and its vendors lost one day when the entire ATM system for the region was down. “People today carry plastic and expect to be able to obtain cash quickly. We want to be able to accommodate them quickly without lines,” Eastman said. |
