Fryeburg Fair supports and promotes
live music and entertainment of all types.
We're pleased to offer the most talented performers in Maine.
Five stages are in use daily
throughout Fair week with variety and style that guarantee something for everyone.
We have an official Entertainment Brochure that's available at both information booths at the front and back gates, as well as here on our website.
Schedules are subject to whim and weather, with the most current information available on posters at each of the parks.
Water Wheel Park
Located by the Front Gate, Water Wheel Park offers daily performances from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Entertainment includes a wide variety of musical talent. The Fryeburg Academy Rock Band and the Vocal Ensemble showcases the local youth talent.
Christmas Tree Park
Located next to the Pulling Pavilion, Christmas Tree Park was expanded in 1993 to include more benches for the ever-growing crowds. A covered stage was added in 1997 to allow entertainers to perform on wet days.
Located next to Old MacDonald's Farm, Hayseed Theater is the perfect place to take youngsters of all ages. The entertainers have been selected for their appeal to children, as well as parents; they include Puppet Shows, Storytellers, Magicians, Clowns, Dancing and Theater Groups.
Draft Horse Park
Draft Horse Park is located on Equine Road in front of Draft Horse Barn #3. A perfect place to stop, site and rest. And listen to some wonderful music.
New in 1998, the Gazebo is located on the west end of the racetrack. You'll find folk, bluegrass bands, jug bands, and magic shows to greet fairgoers as they enter from the parking lot from the orange and green gates.
You never know what waits around the next corner at the Fryeburg Fair. You’ll see anything from stilt walkers to brass bands, barbershop quartets to wandering minstrels. There’ a surprise at every turn, merriment, music, and moos.
